The training program will be based on the self-efficacy theory developed by Albert Bandura at Stanford. These sources of self-efficacy will be tailored to the specific requirements of older adults, given reduced fluid intelligence like working memory capacity and improved crystallized intelligence like vocabulary knowledge with age.
