Stanford / VA / NIA Aging Clinical Research Center (ACRC) Research Labs
The Aging Clinical Research Center (ACRC) is a joint project of Stanford University and the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. Through the ACRC, experienced investigators lead a variety of clinical, research and educational programs, with the aim of improving the lives of those affected by Alzheimer's Disease. The Stanford/VA Aging Clinical Research Center was formed to study memory loss associated with aging. The main purpose of ACRC is to investigate the complex nature of Alzheimer's Disease, its progression over time, its response to treatments, and problems patients and caregivers experience in dealing with the changes that occur.
