Elder Care Alliance has been serving seniors and their families in California for nearly 20 years, but our history stretches back even further. They trace our history to the 1907 opening of Mercy Retirement & Care Center in Oakland, founded by the Sisters of Mercy. In 1997, Mercy and Salem Lutheran Home came together, and with the support of Dignity Health, Elder Care Alliance was formed. From day one, their mission and vision have been centered on the care of seniors – putting their well-being and dignity at the forefront of all they do.
