Kedem is a grower, manufacturer, and Research and Development Center for organic, and all-natural beauty products. During the last 20 years, the company is studied, cultivated, and develops a herbal, 100% natural cosmetics products, in many cases from rare and endemic Dead Sea region plants, along with Dead sea minerals. The uniqueness of the plants and their contents stem from the steep climatic transition between high-elevation mountains to the Dead Sea is found just 30 km eastwards. The products are based on some 20 years of research, led for the past 17 years by Dr. Amir Kitron, the company's CEO, who was the founder, and until recently the scientific director, of the Judea Regional R&D Center, academically supported by the Ben Gurion University in the Negev, and financed in part by the Israeli Ministry of Science.
