The energy consumption of previous cold therapy technologies, such as cold storage and high-temperature cold rooms, was perceived to be too large on a large scale. Cold therapy has traditionally been practiced in pure northern nature, under natural conditions. This same way of working was to be followed in the productisation of new technology.
