IMSUT Hospital is the only hospital affiliated with a research institution of a national university in Japan. IMSUT is conducting translational research and early-phase clinical trials. IMSUT Hospital has been playing a leading role in gene therapy and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in Japan. In order to strengthen and promote this clinical development even further, IMSUT established the Center for Gene & Cell Therapy (CGCT) in 2014.
