Campus Industrie 4.0 ^{R&D, hubs}

The Campus Industrie 4.0 approach was born in 2013 from the consultation between institutional players and companies in the South Alsace territory as part of the reflection on the Mulhouse Alsace Eco 2020 territorial strategy. The roots of the economy of South Alsace are the industries textiles, chemicals and mechanics, born at the beginning of the 19th century, at the start of the 1st Industrial Revolution in continental Europe, of which southern Alsace is recognized as one of the most brilliant examples.
