Centre for Integrated Systems Biology of Ageing and Nutrition (CISBAN) ^{Research Labs}

CISBAN is a multidisciplinary research centre within Newcastle University. It is particularly closely associated with the Institute for Ageing and Health, with which it shares buildings on the Campus for Ageing and Vitality. Its staff members come mainly from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, the School of Computing Science and the School of Mathematics and Statistics. CISBAN's aim is to advance understanding of the complex mechanisms underpinning the ageing process and of how these are affected by nutrition, through the field of research known as systems biology.
