Professor Mark Wilcox is a Consultant Microbiologist, Head of Research and Development in Microbiology at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals (LTHT), Professor of Medical Microbiology at the University of Leeds (Leeds Institute of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences), and is the Lead on Clostridium difficile & Head of the UK C. difficile Reference Laboratory for Public Health England (PHE).
