Hiroshi Nomura

Mr Hiroshi Nomura has been Chief Executive Officer and President of Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Co., Ltd. since April 1, 2018. Mr Nomura served as Executive Vice President of Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Co., Ltd. since 2016 and served as its Senior Executive Officer from April 2014 to April 1, 2016. He was a Senior Director, Finance & Accounting, Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Co., Ltd. since October 2005, Senior Director, Corporate Planning since January 2008, Senior Director, Corporate Planning; Finance & Accounting; Information System Panning since June 2008, Executive Officer Deputy Executive Director, Sales and Marketing; External Affairs since June 2011. Mr Nomura served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sunovion Respiratory Development Inc. He served as a Vice Chairman, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc. He served as the President of Boston Biomedical Pharma Inc. He served as an Executive Officer and Deputy Executive Director of Sales & Marketing and External Affairs at Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma Co Ltd. Mr Nomura serves as Chief Financial Officer of Boston Biomedical, Inc. He served as Director of Global Business Planning & Development, Finance & Accounting, Information Systems Planning, Business Support Center at Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma Co Ltd. He joined Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd. in April 1981. He has championed DSP’s vision of becoming a global pharmaceutical organization by leading the integration efforts of DSP and Sunovion. Mr Nomura served as Executive Officer and Deputy Director of the Sales & Marketing Division of DSP where he managed the entire commercial organization within Japan. He was employed at Sumitomo Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. in December 2003. He has been a Representative Director of Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Co., Ltd. since 2012. He served as Director of Boston Biomedical, Inc. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Tokyo.
